Design and Build Quality

Well, the design of the Ugee M908 tablet is very rich and you will feel the hard work of the company by glancing over the tablet. They did an exceptional job to give one-of-a-kind tablet that looks sassy.

It looks very elegant, thin and slick, making it fun to work with, and I believe you will love it. The fabric pen loop on the right side is sturdy and the stylus pen fits well.

The dimension of the product is 330.1 x 210.1 x 9.3mm, weighing 495g that can be easily fit into a laptop bag and you can carry it esily with you.

Large Drawing Area

The active working area for the Ugee M908 Tablet is 10 x 6.25 Inches, which makes it suitable for most users and monitors sizes, giving users plenty of room for their digital artwork.

The surface has a paper-like texture, which provides a natural drawing experience and no-lag performance.

PH23 Stylus Pen

The tablet uses a passive PH23 stylus, battery-free, with no need for charging, which is a huge plus for artists who value uninterrupted creativity.

The pen is very good, very slim, has an eraser end, and two buttons.

The stylus features an amazing 16384 levels of pressure sensitivity, allowing you to create precise lines and brush effects based on the amount of pressure you apply.

In addition, it supports up to 60 degrees of tilt function, quickly and easily responding to the way your hand naturally moves. While many artists don’t use features like that, this can be a great deal for many people who would want this feature.

8 Hotkeys and One Scroll Wheel

The Ugee M908 tablet offers 8 customizable keys and one scroll wheel on the left side to enhance your work productivity in an efficient manner.

You can customize the keys the way you want by changing settings from the driver setting of the tablet.

You can set the keys in copy, delete, zoom in and out, undo or more for short cuts to creatively perform the work without any hassle.

Highly Compatible

UGEE M908 is highly compatible with the top operating systems that are ruling the market today- Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Chrome OS, and Android.

You don’t have to worry about upgrading versions of the operating system as it will adapt to any latest upgrade without any hassle.

Long USB Cable

The Ugee M908 Tablet comes with 150 CM cable, which is very sufficient whatever you are using a laptop or a desktop computer that is below your desk.

If you want to use it with your android phone/tablet or a ultra-thin laptop without usb-a port, you can use the included OTG USB-A to USB-C adapter.

Install Driver and Setup

You’ll need to install a Ugee tablet driver or application before using & it requires you to restart your device. If you use the Macbook or iMac,  you need to allow the driver in the Mac System preferences Security and Privacy/Accessibility panel.

The Ugee site has free downloadable drivers for Windows, Mac, and Android, so you could use with either with a computer or a mobile device. Drivers for Linux, Debian, and more are also on the site.

Super easy set up! I was careful to delete old tablet drivers I had installed before installing this one. Besides being able to fully customize the shortcut buttons, you can adjust the pressure curve. You can also add software programs to set the customizations to each program if you like.

Drawing Experience

I primarily use it with Photoshop CC and Clip Studio Paint. Photoshop is for photo editing while CSP is somewhat close to Photoshop but is catered to illustrators instead of photographers.

I found the large active drawing space to be fantastic. I do recommend a larger size tablet like this, for professional illustration and fine art.

Personally I feel that the small size drawing tablet such as Ugee S640 (6.5×4 inch active area) is a bit cramped for art.

The matte finish on the surface is very pleasant to glide your pen across, and the pen itself is quite slim, way better than my previous one.

The drawing experience is smooth and solid, with no jitter. 16K levels of pressure sensitivity is great very sensible and reacts perfectly to all my movements.

The 8 ExpressKeys and the scroll wheel are extremely clicky, and can really speed up my workflow. Tablet’s quality itself is good, feels very sturdy.

Unlike pen display monitor such as 15.4-inch Ugee UE16 , It’s a screenless tablet that requires a lot of practice in terms of hand-to-eye coordination.

In Conclusion

In short, I’m really happy with the Ugee M908 in the screenless graphics tablet category.

The tablet has a big drawing area, there’s tons of customization options, the table works with a wide variety of art programs, it’s got a solid build, and it’s portable.

You can use it for art drawing, graphic design, photo editing, Playing osu, taking notes, and more.

If you’re looking for a large entry-level graphics tablet that’s affordable, and has a precise stylus, you should consider this one.
